A B O U T

Empty House Entertainment was founded in the cold, harsh winter of '99 by me, Erwin Broekhuis, as a banner under which I released some freeware products. Games such as Squares and Downhill Santa, but also a cheat organizer, Pc Cheat Factory, and a walkthrough organizer for adventure games, called Adventurers. You don't have to feel embarrassed if you've never heard about any of these. Most of this stuff is probably still floating around the web somewhere.

Today we're independent developers working on our first major release, Bad Timing, which will be released somewhere in 2005.

I'm, however, not the only mastermind behind Empty House Entertainment. Behind every project we undertake stands a team, made out of smart, cool and handsome individuals with various specific skills, such as writing, composing, language, testing and more.

Our goal is to create enjoyable games for the entire family. We don't focus on technology, as most of the big, commercial companies seem to do nowadays, but on creativity. That way, we hope to capture and bring back the feeling we had when playing games in the old days. It was in the old days (read: around the late eighties and early nineties) when gameplay mattered instead of the number of polygons. Our current project, a classic point and click adventure named Bad Timing, is an excellent example of what we're trying to accomplish.

Empty House Entertainment is situated in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Our team members come from all around the globe.
